Mr. William Milton Niebel, pioneer of the Westside, succumbed last night at his hone on the Santa Fe Lease. Mr. Niebel had been a resident of the area for the past 48 years. He was a native of Ohio, born February 8, 1871. He was a member of the Fellows Baptist Church and the Fellows Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his widow, Frances M., three daughters, Margaret Fouch, Bakersfield; Ella Pyatt, Los Alamitos and Mary Reinert of Maricopa. Three sons surviving are William M., Anchorage; Walter T., Bakersfield and Robert L. of Taft. Seven grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday t 2 p.m. in the Erickson and Brown Funeral Chapel with the Reverend James Bright of the Fellows Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in the West Side District Cemetery.
