Wendell Turner Missamore

Funeral services for Wendell T. Missamore, killed Sunday in an automobile accident near Greenfield, will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the chapel of the Erickson and Brown Funeral Home. Mr. Missamore, a Bakersfield restaurant owner, was killed when his automobile struck a tree on Highway 99. He was a veteran of World War II. The Rev. Claud Downs will conduct the services and burial will be held at West Side District Cemetery. Survivors include Mr. Missamore’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Missamore of Taft; four brothers, Harold of San Francisco. Ellwood of Bakersfield, Jack and Jerry of Grover City; a half brother, Lloyd Baker, of Grover City; two sisters, Miss LaVerne Missamore and Mrs. W.M. Northrop of Bakersfield and two uncles.
