Mrs. Rosetta Brown of 115 South Street died at the family residence early this morning. She was born in Boydsville, Arkansas on October 2, 1897. She had been a resident of this community the past 28 years. Survivors include her husband, Clifford of the Taft address, one son, Gerald D. Brown of Taft and one daughter Joyce Aileen Brown of Taft; three grandchildren, two brothers, Raymond Crawley of Taft and Diamond Crawley of St. Louis, Missouri; three sisters, Maybelle McDaniels of Taft and Nora McIntosh and Luella Powell both of Campbell, Missouri. The funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Erickson and Brown Chapel. Reverend Norval Ketchum of the Missionary Baptist Church will conduct the service. Burial will be in West Side District Cemetery.
