Rose Emma Pett, a 28-year resident of the West Side, died yesterday in a local hospital. Mrs. Pett was born in Dublin, Ireland, March 17, 1876, and had been in the United States since 1909. She resided at 119 South Street. She was the widow of Alfred James Pett. She leaves four sons, William A. Pett, Rolling Hills; Alfred James Pett, South Gate; David G. Pett, Taft; and Robert John Pett, Arcadia; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Bast, Cedar Falls, IA.; Mrs. Elizabeth Nichols and Mrs. Letitia Emmons, both of Taft; and Mrs. Rose Hull, Seattle; 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and other relatives. Services are scheduled for Friday, 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Erickson and Brown Funeral Home, Rev. Timothy Sullivan of the Episcopal Church will officiate. Interment will be in the West Side Cemetery.
