Myron Alfred (pop) Johnson, Sr., succumbed at his home, 423Mary Street, Maricopa, Saturday. Mr. Johnson was born in Wausau, Wis., November 7, 1890, and had been a resident of Maricopa and the West Side for the past 10 years. He was the proprietor of the Gates City Pharmacy in Maricopa. Survivors include one son, Myron A. Johnson, Jr., Hayward; three brothers, Leroy of Stockton, Norman of Ft. Bragg and Frank of Carlsbad, four grandchildren, Lynne Madelon, Chris and Carol Johnson also survive. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Maricopa Exchange Club and of the Cuyama American Legion Post 656. Funeral services will be conducted by the Reverend James Thompson in the Erickson and Brown Funeral Chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2:00. Interment will follow in the West Side Cemetery.
