Reverend Paul S. Ray of the First Baptist Church will conduct funeral services in the Chapel of the Erickson and Brown Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock for Milo Wilson Thornton. Mr. Thornton died in his home at 102 Loma Vista, Saturday. Mr. Thornton was born in Licking MO., September 29, 1902, and had resided in Taft since 1924. He was an employee of the Associated Oil Company, a member of the First Baptist Church, secretary of the Knights of Pythias and an active member of the Sportsman’s Club. Survivors include his widow Edith of the home address; a son, Robert, of Richmond; a daughter Margaret Thornton, of San Lorenzo; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Smith, Licking Mo., Mrs. Cora Wagner, El Paso, Texas, and Evelyn Sidden, Rolla, Mo., his mother. Mrs. A.A. Thornton, Licking Mo., and one grandchild.
