Funeral services were held this afternoon for Mrs. Mary Etta Guthrie, who passed away here Friday. She had made her home at 202 Jackson for the past two years. Last rites were held at the Erickson and Brown Chapel, with the Rev. Leonard Palmer, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial was in the West Side Cemetery. Mrs. Guthrie was born on Dec. 23, 1884, in Knox County, Missouri. She is survived by two sons, Carl of San Bernardino and Leon of Phoenix, and five daughters, Mary Terry of San Jose, Marie Holmes of Bakersfield, Rosa Duble of Watsonville, Etta May Williams of Taft and Irene Mason of Hughson. Also one brother, George N. Nance of Lodi, 25 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
