Marion Joseph Scott of the CWOD oil lease at Fellows died yesterday in a local hospital. He was born in Coalinga on March 30, 1909. He had worked for CWOD the past 24 years. Besides his widow, Alma, Mr. Scott leaves one daughter, Mrs. Nancy Lee Wade of Taft, and two sons, David J. and John C. Also surviving are his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Marion J. Scott of Grover City. Five sisters also survive. They are Mrs. May Smith of Redondo Beach; Mrs. Hazel Furness of Oceano; Mrs. Laura Seymour of West Covina; Mrs. Dorothy Whitington of Torrance; and Mrs. Ethel Mae Pederson of Valley Acres. Mr. Scott was a past master of the Temblor Lodge 477, F&AM, and was also a member of the Buena Vista OES, 364. services will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Erickson and Brown chapel, Rev. Max E. Greenlee officiating. Interment will be in West Side Cemetery. Friends who wish may contribute to the Heart Fund.
