Leon F. Switzer of 300 Buchanan Street a resident of the West Side for the past four years and of the state for 20 years, died in a local hospital yesterday. He was born in Denver, Colo., July 12, 1891. Mr. Switzer, of World War I veteran, was a retired electrical contractor. He was a member of the Roger Sherman Lodge, F&AM 369, Kansas City, Kans., and the Al Malaika Shrine of Los Angeles. He was also a member of Taft Post 70, American Legion. Mr. Switzer leaves a widow Clara; one son, Darwyn F. of Bakersfield; one sister, Ellen Odin of Van Nuys; and four grandchildren. Also surviving are two sister-in-laws, Mrs. Frank Krugh and Mrs. Bert Legan, both of Taft and other relatives. Services will be conducted Wednesday t 2 p.m. at the Erickson and Brown Chapel, with George Mott, Worthy Master of Maricopa Masonic Lodge, and Jimmie Lance of the Taft American Legion officiating.
