Lawson Floyd Stiles died yesterday while en route to the local hospital apparently suffering a heart attack. Mr. Stiles was stricken while employed in a well gang on the Oceano Lease. Mr. Stiles was born September 10, 1910 in Culberson, N.C. He resided at 126 Main Street. Survivors include his wife, Minnie Marie; his mother, Mrs. Hollie Stiles of Hickory, N.C.; five sisters, Mrs. A.J. Moore and Mrs. E.D. Millam of Hickory, N.C.; Mrs. Dennis Shields and Mrs. Olden Shields of Culberson, N.C., and Mrs. Thomas Hale of Belridge; one brother Clayton of Hickory two half sisters, Mrs. Bertha Wilson and Mrs. Docia Davis of Ohio and three half brothers, Jake, Eugene and D4ennis Stiles of Ohio and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 21, in the Chapel of the Erickson and Brown Funeral Home for Lawson Floyd Stiles at 2 p.m. Rev. Joseph Bruner of the first Baptist Church will officiate with interment following in the West Side District Cemetery.
