John E. Severance, 70, of the Taft Trailer Park, died yesterday at a local hospital. He was born in Boston Mass., on Aug. 14, 1893 and had lived on the West Side for the past seven years. He was a veteran of World War . Survivors include his widow, Mary M. of Taft; two sons, Lawrence of Sheboygan, Wis. and Edwin of Bridgeport, Conn.; two daughters, Mrs. Faye Schilling of Sheboygan and Mrs. Hazel Hobbs of Alameda; 10 grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Harriette Bailey of Maricopa; two brothers, Winthrop Titcomb of Rockville Center in Long Island, N.Y. and Rodney Titcomb of Long Beach. Funeral services for Mr. Severance will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Erickson and Brown Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Mill of First Methodist Church officiating.
