Mr. James Walter Cantrell died yesterday at a hospital in Tulare. He was born in Yellville, Arkansas on April 1, 1879. Mr. Cantrell had been a ranch worker at the Joe Lewis Ranch near Buttonwillow before moving to Visalia five years ago. Survivors include three sons, Ernie Cantrell of Weber Falls, Oklahoma, Earl Cantrell of Sunnyvale, and Harold Cantrell of Visalia; two daughters, Mrs. Ida Blevins of La Habra and Mrs. Edith Sayler of Richmond; 26 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 19, at 11 a.m. in the Erickson and Brown Chapel. Reverend Issac Horton of the First Pentecostal Church will officiate. Interment will be in West Side Cemetery.
