James Harvey Wilson, 63, 0of 825 Hazelton St. in Maricopa, died in a Bakersfield hospital yesterday. Mr. Wilson was born Aug. 29, 1900 at Ozark, Ark. He had resided on the West Side for 17 years, and was in the grocery business most of his life. He formerly operated a grocery store in Maricopa. He was a member of the Maricopa Masonic Lodge. Survivors are his widow, Julia of Maricopa; one son, James E. Wilson of Taft; a daughter, Velma R. Edgemon of Bakersfield; one brother, John L. of Oronogo, Mo.; three sisters, Ruby Butler of Talhiequah, Okla., Irene Tweedy of Spring Valley and Essie Stearens of National City, Calif.; seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Erickson and Brown Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. James Moore of the Baptist Church of Maricopa officiating. Officers of Maricopa Masonic Lodge will conduct graveside rites. Burial will follow at the West Side District Cemetery.
