Henry Carl Penney died Saturday at his home on the CWOD Lease in Fellows. Mr. Penney, a retired oil worker, was born in Moab, Utah, March 13, 1882, and came to California 37 years ago. He had been a resident of the Westside for 35 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ray, Arizona. Earl Gwinn of Temblor Lodge No. 477 will officiate at the services to be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Erickson and Brown Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the West Side District Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, May of Fellows; three daughters, Jeannette Dayton, Phoenix, Ariz.; Noma Collins, Taft, and Jane Fike of Bakersfield; two sons, Carl of Santa Paula and Robert of Fellows. Other survivors include a brother, Elomer, of Fellows and a sister, Nettie Tonkin of Van Nuys and eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
