Henrietta Jobe Hudson, 84 formerly of Mt. Abel Ranch near Maricopa, died yesterday evening at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Marguerite E. Forgit, 2205 West Balboa Blvd., in Newport Beach. Mrs. Hudson was born in Arlington, Ore., on Sept. 17, 1879 and lived in the Maricopa area for about 70 years before moving to Newport Beach five years ago. Survivors are five sons, Regnald E. of Taft, Clifford E. of Santa Margarita, Everett A. of Maricopa, Robert R. of Cuyama and John B. Jr., of Maricopa; three daughters, Mrs. Helen E. Adkin of St. Ignatius, Mont., Mrs. Marguerite E. Forgit of Newport Beach, and Mrs. Kathleen C. McCoy of Bakersfield; 14 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Stubblefield of Hugo, Okla. and Mrs. Nora Wilkinson of Paso Robles. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Erickson and Brown Funeral Chapel. William O. Erickson will conduct the services. Burial will be at West Side District Cemetery.
