Mr. George Seth Fowler, 118 1/2 Ironwood, died today in a Bakersfield hospital. He was born July 25, 1887 in Jerico, Missouri. He was a veteran of World War I, and was a resident of this community the past 45 years. He was a former Standard Oil Employee. Survivors include his widow, Ann Fowler: one son, Seth of Taft; one daughter, Mildred Barrott of Manhattan Beach, and 3 grandchildren, two brothers, John of Big Pine, California and Lee of Verden, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Eva of Chickashaw, Oklahoma, Mrs. Etta Crum of Los Angeles, Mrs. Eunice Smith of Wichita Falls, Texas. Mr. Fowler was a member of American Legion, Taft Post 70.
