Graveside services will be held for Mr. Evan Ewart Rosser, Friday, August 5 at 10 a.m. in West Side District Cemetery. Mr. Rosser was born May 16, 1893, at Butte, Montana. He died August 1, 1960 at Long Beach Community Hospital of cerebral hemorrhage. He was a member of Willington Lodge 198, Wilmington Chapter O.E.S. 459, Scottish Rite of Long Beach, El Zaribah Temple of Phoenix, Arizona, and was a veteran of World War I. He had been retired from Mobil Oil Co. for 2 years, after 35 years of service. The family lived at Pentland Pump Station near Maricopa for 25 years. Survivors include, his widow, Florence May Rosser, Wilmington, Son, Thomas E. Prosser, Long Beach, daughter, Ruby M. Lee, Taft, brother, Thomas J. Rosser, Globe, Arizona, and sister, Ruby Martyn of Long Beach. He has three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 4 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilmington, Calif.
