Mrs. Eva E. Trask, long time resident of Taft, died early this morning in a Bakersfield hospital. Mrs. Trask was born in West Farnham, Canada, August 27, 1875 and had resided in Taft for the past 35 years. She made her home at 511 Kern Street. Survivors include her husband, Robert T. Trask of the above address; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Howell and Mrs. Robert Wiens, both of Taft and Mrs. Lorna Pierson of Grant Pass, Oregon; a son Rodney T. Trask, Taft; two sisters, Mrs. Alexina Wilson and Mrs. Georgina Tremblay both of Denver, Colorado and a brother, L. Eugene Tremblay of Los Angeles. Twelve grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren also survive. Rosary will be said Friday evening at 8:15 in the Chapel of the Erickson and Brown Funeral Home with mass to be held Saturday morning at 9 o’clock at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church. Father Harry Clinch will officiate. The family has requested no flowers be sent and those wishing to do so may make donations to the Cancer Fund or the St. Mary’s Building Fund.
