Services for Edwin Lee Griffith, 64, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel of the Erickson and Brown Funeral Home. The Rev. Frank Dabney of the Nazarene Church in New Cuyama will conduct the rites. Interment will be at the West Side District Cemetery. He was born on a ranch in Middle St. Vrain, Near Boulder, Colo., Feb. 8, 1899. He had been a resident of California since 1912. He lived in Fellows for 39 years. Mr. Griffith is survived by his widow, Neva Mae; one son, Richard; two daughters, Mrs. Leona Mae McGoldrick and Mrs. Gladys Fern Hathcock, all of Torrance; a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Hall of New Cuyama; two sons, Eugene H. Fellows and Rodney, who is a staff sergeant in the United States Army, stationed at Albany, Ore.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Eagles of West Los Angeles, and one brother, William Carl of Salmon, Ida.
