Edward Ruff, 44, resident of the West Side for 14 years, and an employee of the General Petroleum Company, succumbed Sunday in a local hospital. Mr. Ruff was born in Russell, Kansas, April 6, 1911. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Navy. He is survived by his widow, Lillian, who resides at the family address, 404 South Seventh Street, a daughter Juanita and a son Bobby. Six brothers, Herman, Carl, Ernest, Melvin, Vernon and Gordon, all residing on the West Side. One other brother, Andrew, resides in Buffalo, Missouri. Eva R. Ruff, mother, also resides in Taft. Two sisters, Mrs. Ida Bauer, Napa, Idaho, and Mrs. Kinda Taylor, Boulder City, Nevada, and other relatives also survive.
