Mrs. Edith Ethel Walker, Maricopa, succumbed early today in her home at 527 Klipstein Street. She was born April 18, 1917, in Tucumcari, New Mexico. She had resided in Maricopa for 13 years and in the state for 22 years. She was employed in the Maricopa School District system. Mrs. Walker was a member of the First Congregational Church of Maricopa. Survivors include her husband, O.P. Walker; two daughters, Margaret R. Squires of Taft and Patricia L. Gowen, Santa Clara; two sons, Dennis N. of Taft and Conrad B. of Marcopa; a brother, J.W. Voyles, Des Moines; three sisters, Mrs. Carl Subblet, Liberal, Kans.; Mrs. Foy Dunway, Claud, Tex., and Mrs. Juanita Holeman of McLean, Tex., and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Erickson and Brown Mortuary with the Reverend Dr. Paul Beck of the First Congregational Church of Maricopa officiating.
