Mrs. Dorothy Irene Bond succumbed October 15 in a Wasco hospital. She was born October 27, 1909, in Statesboro, GA. She had been a resident of the West Side for 10 years. She had been an active member of the First Pentecostal Church Ford City. Besides her husband, Walter William Bond 506 Fillmore Street, she leaves three sons, Walter Rober of New Cuyama, Donald Howard of Taft and RrederickWillard, a United States Marine stationed at Twenty-nine Palms; three grandchildren; five brothers, Robert of Royal Oak, Mich., Fred of Columbus, GA., James Paul and Walter Hodges of Savannah, GA>, and two sisters, Mrs. C.B. Sullivan of Mobile, Ala., and Miss Lucille Hodges of Savannah, GA. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Erickson & Brown Chapel with Reverend Isaac Horton of the First Pentecostal Church officiating. Interment will be in the West Side District Cemetery.
