Mrs. Dora Connick, a former resident of Taft, succumbed yesterday in a Santa Cruz hospital. Funeral services are pending at the Erickson and Brown Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Connick was bon in Marshall Town, Ohio, April 12, 1873 and had lived in Taft a number of years before moving to Santa Cruz. She is survived by three sons, Everett, Santa Cruz; William H., Taft; and Donald of Ardmore, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Gus Hackler, Bakersfield and Mrs. Dorothy Gosney of Thermopolis, Wyo.; two brothers, P.O. Gaylord, Chadron, Neb., and Art Gaylord of Douglas, Wyo.; sister mrs. James Miller of Yakima, Wash., and eleven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
