Mr. Donald Allard Lynch, Fellows, succumbed at his home Saturday evening. He was born in Fellows, August 2, 1928. He was well known on the West Side having been an outstanding softball pitcher for many years. Mr. Lynch, a Korean War Veteran was a warehouse foreman for the Chanslor Western Oil Development Company at the time of death. He is survived by his widow Zona Dene Ray; one son, Steven; father, Alfred William Lynch of Friant, and three brothers, Willard, North Hollywood; Olen, San Ardo; Jack, Taft and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 5, at 10:00 a.m. in the Erickson and Brown Chapel with the Reverend A.A. Phillips, formerly of Taft, of the Church of Christ, Fillmore, officiating. Interment will be in the West Side Cemetery.
