Mrs. Constance Geraldine Flake, 431 Madera Street, Maricopa, passed away in a Taft hospital Wednesday morning, May 9. She was born December 2, 1919 in Frazier, Idaho, and had lived in this area the past 35 years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Taft. Surviving are her husband, James B. Flake; one son Steven Benton Flake; and one daughter, Cheri Ami Flake all of the Maricopa address. Others surviving are her mother, Mrs. Della Koker of Bakersfield; two brothers Earl Koker of Mt. Pinos and Virgil Koker of Lake Tahoe; four sisters, Mae Ware of Desert Hot Springs, Beulah Burge of Pasadena, Gladys Neuens of Taft and Marie Salcido of Bakersfield. Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning at 10:00 o’clock in the Chapel of Erickson and Brown Funeral Home. The Rev. Leonard Palmer, minister of the First Assembly of God Church will officiate. Burial will be in West Side District Cemetery.
