Columbus (Lum Stacy, 67, of Tupman died this morning in a local hospital. A veteran of World War I, Stacy was born July 24, 1895, in Moore, Arkansas. He had lived in California and Kern County for the past 13 years. He is survived by his widow, Willma; two sons, Chelca Lee and Troy Lee, both of Tupman; three daughters, Dorothy Sinden of Tupman, Evelyn Morse of Lakeview and Inus James of Saugus; two brothers, Homer of Wenatchee, Wash., and Frank of Oak Grove, Okla; three sisters, Zenia and Rosie Reynolds, both of Shafter, and Allie Clemens of Wasco. Funeral services for Columbus Stacy were held in the Erickson and Brown Funeral Home today. Rev. Lauren Hedeen of the First Baptist Church of Taft officiated at the rites which were follow by burial in the West Side District Cemetery.
