Charles William Steinhoff, 60, of 516 Rose Avenue, died last night in a local hospital. A native of California, Steinhoff was born Sept. 27, 1902. He was a 35 year employee of the Mobil Oil Company. Survivors include his widow Mamie of Taft; a son Charles F. of Taft; two daughters, Mrs. lila Lee Aiken and Mrs. Esther Hixon, both of Los Angeles; three brothers, Paul of National City, Edward of Bakersfield, and George of Frazier Park; one sister, Mrs. Esther Crawford of Altadena; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Erickson and Brown Funeral Home follow by burial in the West Side District Cemetery.
