Funeral services for Alexander Macaulay who succumbed at his residence, 209 South Lincoln Street Monday morning will be held in the Erickson and Brown Funeral Chapel Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Macaulay was born in Rosedale, Nova Scotia, Canada, August 16, 1883 and had been a resident of the West Side since 1922. He was a retired oil worker and had been affiliated with Macaulay’s Grocery Store, 209 South Lincoln Street, for several years. Survivors include two sons, Neil S. and Alexander R., both of Taft, three daughters, Mrs. Marion S. Gill, San Mateo, Mrs. Margaret DeLaive, Venezuela and Mrs. Florence Jackson, Sacramento and a brother, Peter Angus, Vancouver, British Columbia. There are also 15 grandchildren surviving. Interment will be in the West Side Cemetery.
